Best 60s Horror Movies

The 60s wasn't all peace, love, and harmony, dive in to our list of 60s horror classics and discover the darker side of the decade with films like 'Rosemary's Baby' and 'The Innocents'.

Boris Karloff Movies

Forever immortalized as Frankenstein in James Whale's legendary 1931 production, Karloff brought the gothic genre to life on the big-screen for a whole generation of horror-hounds. Though he frequently portrayed monsters, Karloff was by all accounts a complete angel in real life, donating large sums of his wealth to charity and even dressing up as (probably quite frightening) Santa Claus for sick children!

'Movies Like Creepshow': Horror Anthology Classics

In the vein of Stephen King's 'Creepshow': horrors that meld together shorts into an anthology format. Horror doesn't get cheesier, and more enjoyable, than this. Plus, with lots of terrifying tales per anthology, you get more blood for your buck!

'Movies Like Tenebre': Italian Gothic Horror

While the gothic movement may not have started in Italy, it certainly found a happy home in the golden age of Italian horror movies: during which the country's directors brought to life vampires, witches, and ghosts in lurid detail. Note, some titles don't translate so well.
